Birds of Pray
Check out Exit Art's video Podcast of the Praying Project. (just type in exit art in the podcast directory) Artists were asked to perform or reveal their definition of Prayer in the windows of the Exit Art Gallery. Religious/spiritual fervor, attitude, or practice is something inherent to most artists, but is seldom addressed.

Do you mean feelings toward other peoples religious fervor?
No, I mean more of artistic practices fulfilling many experiences the devout religious folk get through religion. I'm interested in the overlap/distinction between art and religion, and the way in which artists define or make an experience/ritual/action/object sacred. I realize that there are artists out there that are religious, but I'm interested in how art is sometimes (and often secretly) a surrogate for religion.
