byrning down the house

Scope art fair was a bit of a bust this year. The space was way to small and it felt like a meat market. It was very difficult to get any idea of the hope and excitement of artists trying different things out. There was no whiff of a studio presence in the experience, whereas last year had it a plenty. I did, however, get a candid shot of David Byrne from the talking heads.

The night ended with a free round of drinks from Tate's brother, Gage, who is as close as I'll ever get to meeting Ronnie James Dio.
